Learning how to make mustard is much easier than you might think. This homemade mustard recipe is super simple. This delicious recipe is a great option for all condiment lovers who want to learn how to easily make mustard at home.
- 1/2 cup of mustard seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt (or to taste)
- 1 teaspoon maple honey
- 1 packet of Stevia (optional)
- 6 tablespoons lemon juice (or ¾ cup of vinegar)
- 1/3 cup of water
Soak mustard seeds in 1 ½ cup of water and lemon juice for 14 hours.
Remove water from seeds and then wash out all ingredients with fresh filtered water.
NOTES AND INDICATIONS:
You can use vinegar so that mustard lasts a whole month. I prefer to do it with lemon! Personally, if possible, I avoid mixing vinegar with food.
If you use lemon the recipe lasts about 4 days in refrigeration.
